Airpush Partners with Leading App Security Company, Appthority, to Combat Mobile Security Threats

This partnership will integrate Appthority’s industry-leading mobile security technology directly into the Airpush platform in order to scan all advertiser app promotions and URLs as an additional layer of protection to Airpush’s manual approval process. Airpush seeks to set a new standard in mobile ad network security practices and encourages other networks to follow suit.
Mobile malware is one of the most severe and prevalent threats to the mobile ecosystem. Innovative security companies like Appthority are rapidly developing solutions to combat this threat, but without scanning at the distribution level, they can only eliminate a small percentage of malicious threats.
