Los Angeles, CA – August 10, 2011 – Airpush, the first push notification mobile ad network, today announced that it has launched  its new self-service ad portal that allows brands and advertisers to  utilize push notification ads from over 22,000 popular app developers.

Push notification ads, first offered by Airpush, offer unprecedented performance and a much higher return on investment than advertisements that appear within the app.  For example, Airpush’s push notification ads offer CTRs of between 20 and 40 percent and exceptional conversion rates, both far above the average offered by in-app impressions.

The new Airpush portal offers a greater number of advertisers the opportunity to access push notification inventory through a competitive auction process.  Advertisers can bid to reach their target audience in order to maximize the effectiveness of their mobile ad campaigns and substantially increase ROI.  The portal also provides real-time reporting, allowing advertisers to optimize their campaigns up to the second.

For Android developers on the Airpush network, the new portal means an upsurge in demand, helping them to improve revenues and further monetize their content.  Airpush push notifications typically offer app developers ten times more revenue when compared against an in-app impression. Developers themselves can also use the new advertising portal to place push ads on other apps, in order to drive installs of their own app.

“Ever since Airpush launched the first push notification ads on Android, we have had significant interest from advertisers, and in recent months, it has been a challenge to keep up with demand,” said Asher Delug, CEO and founder of Airpush.  “This new ad portal provides an open door for advertisers to access the higher CTR and conversion rates that push notifications offer.  As more ad dollars enter this market, app developers will reap the financial rewards for their creativity and innovation.”
